Frank Fleischmann, born in 1965, began his career with an apprenticeship as a skilled machinist and mechanic. He went on to earn a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Plastics Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt.
Over the course of more than 30 years, he has gained extensive professional and leadership experience in management and plant management, Production Excellence, project management, product management, ramp-up management and costing, Key Account Management, Business Development and Sales, Quality Management, as well as proven success in Performance, Change, and Shop Floor Management.
In addition to his commitment to the GGAWB e.V., Frank Fleischmann most recently served as Plant Manager and Authorized Officer (Prokurist) at ESE GmbH. In this role, he was responsible for injection molding production, assembly, logistics, warehousing, purchasing, production planning and control, ramp-up management, process engineering, and maintenance, with personnel responsibility for approximately 240 employees.
Previously, he spent four years as head of the plant at Hanwha Advanced Materials Germany GmbH, where he drove the reorganization of manufacturing in injection molding, thermoforming, and non-woven production lines. He also played a key role in advancing Shop Floor Management, Lean and Continuous Improvement processes, the implementation of automotive standards, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
As 2nd Vice Chairman of the GGAWB e.V., Frank Fleischmann aims to contribute his many years of industry and production expertise to help guide the association through the ongoing transformation of the sector, positioning it for the future and providing new impetus for a sustainable and high-quality waste management industry.
